Capella is a small town in the Central Highlands region of Central Queensland.

 

It is a 324 km drive northwest of Rockhampton via the Capricorn and Gregory Highways.

 

It is 50 km north of Emerald and 50 km south of Clermont.

 

Virgin, Alliance and Qantas fly to Emerald airport, which
is an easy 35-minute (65 km) drive south of Dooleys in Capella.

The main driveway into Dooleys is on Gordon Street, (turn right off Peak Downs Street) Capella.

 

There is plenty of off-street free parking available for guests.

 

And, if you’re looking for quality accommodation heading south, Dooleys has an identical motel and tavern in Springsure, about an hour away.
